A Vida participates in the decoration of one of the spectacular holiday residences of Comporta Retreat in Portugal
Calm. Serenity. Relaxation. Tranquillity. Wellbeing. These terms constitute the fundamental pillars on which Comporta Retreat is based, a complex of holiday residences located in the paradisiacal parish of Comporta in the south of Portugal.
The privileged enclave unfolds on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, with its multiple plots located in the heart of a lush pine forest flanked by endless rice paddies. An incomparable natural environment that has inspired the design and construction of the summer homes that make up Comporta Retreat.
One of them, in particular, is the one that is the center of attention on this occasion. Built in the image and likeness of the local landscape, this residence perfectly encapsulates the peaceful atmosphere of the place. And it does so through an exquisite exercise in interior design, signed by the studio Raiz Interiors & Living.
Following their guidelines, our teams gave shape and form to the studio’s ideas. At the same time, they brought to fruition some of their own proposals: yet another example of the versatility of A Vida in every hospitality, retail or housing project in which it participates.

Natural and sophisticated
Organic materials, real textures and a succinct color palette are the three essential elements that underpin the entire visual dimension of the home. A permeable place that is in constant contact with the outside world, and that makes it its most remarkable hallmark.
In resonance with this aesthetic proposal, each and every piece of furniture exudes the values that make Comporta Retreat the perfect place to rest and recharge.
Among them are, for example, the imposing table in the living room and the unusual mirror in the bathroom. Conceived by the designers of Raiz Interiors & Living and brought to life by A Vida, both pieces of furniture constitute the clearest declaration of intent.
Their sinuous forms, accompanied by their unique tactile qualities, make them two authentic odes to harmony, tranquility and peace. Their fluid and fickle nature also allows for a smooth transition between all the rooms, demonstrating the benefits of opting for open-concept spaces.
Sharing the same qualities, the original lamp in one of the bedrooms also stands out, designed in this case by our teams. Something that undoubtedly connects the creative perspectives of A Vida and Comporta Retreat.
