A Vida Group collaborates in decorating AÜAKT, a sensational gastronomic space in Madrid managed by the interior design studio MIL Studios
Reinventing popular elements. Deconstructing to create a brand. Betting on the demystification of the healthy, guaranteeing a wellness that flees from the boring. Ingenious. Urban. Current. Different. As a name, a phonetic game that simplifies the writing of the central element of its menu, the avocado, in a carefree exercise of reduction to the minimum expression. That is AÜAKT.
Located in the iconic Barquillo Street in Madrid, this gastronomic proposal takes versatility by flag. Combining multiple proposals in the same place, AÜAKT mutates from morning to night, articulating itself as a magmatic space where all plans and styles have a place under a cosmopolitan aesthetic that creates trends.
From an inspiring design exercise forged thanks to a long tradition of collaborations between A Vida Group and the MIL Studios interior design studio, which has recently culminated in the birth of the brand Inefable Studio, and which has long allowed us to be part of hospitality proposals as unique as this one.
This being the most personal project of MIL Studios, the space created makes the use of contrast its best asset. It combines industrial elements with handcrafted pieces, creating an eclectic and diverse set, but at the same time, it generates a unique atmosphere, delicate and cared for down to the smallest detail.
The beauty of the imperfect
Following the traditional Japanese Wabi-sabi trend precepts, the aura surrounding AÜAKT appreciates the material consequences of aging and celebrates the simplicity of the most naked imperfection.
Combining the warmth provided by the natural elements arranged throughout the establishment with the rawness and authenticity of the most urban geometries that vertebrate the place designed by MIL Studios, the atmosphere conceived projects an informal sophistication out of the ordinary.
Between golden finishes and furniture that unfolds in earth tones, the coatings created by our teams act as a counterpoint by printing on the walls of the establishment a very particular story, the result of a long history that does not reject its nature and that makes its scars and chipping the purest exercise of beauty.
Culminating the excellent exercise of contrasts, the functional tables that the Madrid studio has commissioned us reveal their origin by displaying a mineral texture that reinforces the materials’ dualities.
In short, AÜAKT is what it promises to be, a most stimulating reformulation of leisure and restoration.
