Encapsulating the essence of Dutch design

A Vida and ModernShapes Studio explore Dutch design in Holland's stimulating home interior design exercise

Ingenuity. Disruption. Innovation. Freedom.

These terms are and will always be linked to Dutch design, forged in a land where aesthetic enjoyment always finds a way to break discipline, where there is a unique culture of creation that inherently looks to the future.

Being part of this stimulating trend is something A Vida will always welcome with open arms. And even more so, if we can do it with ModernShapes Studio, with whom we have collaborated on many occasions.

In this case, we participated in decorating a house in The Netherlands. Undoubtedly, it is a truly inspiring housing project.

An aura of intoxicating elegance

Functionality and beauty converge in each one of the elements present in this temple of Dutch design. They do so, for example, in the exclusive pieces of furniture created by our teams, which give cohesion and harmony to an environment that unfolds in the waters of eclecticism.

An example is the triad formed by the elliptical table and the two supports on the house’s porch. Their curved geometries and micro cement finishes give them a futuristic look. At the same time, they give them great versatility in finding their place without disturbing the calm atmosphere that reigns in the home.

In the same way, the dining room’s bench and the living room’s pedestal tables stand out, whose visual dimension follows the same common thread—but giving enough freedom for the development of the stylistic particularities of each piece and making them one of the greatest exponents of the philosophy behind the original Dutch design.
