Mango, a window to a unique universe

A Vida participates in the fifth Mango shop window campaign and collaborates in the creation of numerous focal points at an international level

Shop window dressing is an exercise in identity. In introspection. In which one reflects on one’s values. And on how these can be represented. Behind the glass, creativity and imagination are given free rein, with the ultimate aim of generating memories in passers-by and opening the doors to a new microcosm.

Consequently, nothing can be left to chance. Every decision made must be measured to the millimeter. Every shape. Every texture. Every point of light. Every element counts a lot. And Mango has always been clear about this.

Demonstrating a conscious syncretism, appropriate to the inherent ephemeral quality of visual merchandising, Mango‘s shop windows respond to what is happening inside each store.

The components that make up the shop windows also function as focal points, small installations at the points of sale that reinforce the aesthetic proposal of the brand.

For this reason, at A Vida, we are particularly proud to have contributed our grain of sand to this stimulating enterprise. Not only because of the challenge of creating unique pieces for multiple spaces with a strong international presence. But also because of the need to opt for a versatile design that adapts to the particularities of each store and each space. This demonstrates, once again, the versatility of our work in the retail sector.

Natural and contemporary

The need to surprise with impossible shapes is combined in Mango‘s commercial spaces with the enhancement of the organic and the sustainable, which finds its greatest source of inspiration in nature.

Thus, one of the proposals we have worked on is based on the construction of wooden frameworks whose structure can be modified according to the needs of each space.

Like a climbing plant, the pieces colonize the space in a race to reach the sky. Giving fluidity and verticality to the whole and highlighting the visual qualities of the clothes worn by the mannequins.

On the other hand, it is the mineral materials and the marked geometries that draw the eye. The quadrangular monoliths sectioned by circles created by our teams stand like futuristic arches of industrial construction, revealing the scars that speak of their materiality.

Thanks to the mirrored surfaces that seal the interior cavity of the pieces, they manage to expand the spatial dimension of the stores. At the same time, they take part in the play of light provided by the infinite luminaires.

In short, Mango‘s interior design and window dressing proposals make eclecticism and elegance their best allies, creating a unique and different shopping experience.
