A Vida creates exclusive furniture pieces for &MediaGroup's sensational offices in Amsterdam
Louis Sullivan said that form follows function. It could be translated as a celebration of the purpose of matter when conceiving its aesthetic dimension. But this reveals, at the same time, the nature of an indissoluble relationship between design and utility. A confluence based on the avant-garde, innovation and a way of thinking that breaks all molds.
It is a different look and distanced from the pre-established limits as that of Studio Sluijzer and 88 Projects, the tandem that is behind the conception and materialization of the offices of &MediaGroup and that counted on the collaboration of A Vida to make this unique workspace a reality.
Located in the capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam, these offices are a true ode to Dutch functional design, known for its disruptive ingenuity and unbridled conceptual freedom that, on this occasion, go hand in hand with very stimulating contemporary rationalism.
As participants in this project, our teams have shaped a set of exclusive custom-designed furniture pieces for this unique space created for &MediaGroup, in which the work environment is complemented by a series of spaces that generate a relaxed atmosphere focused on unwinding.

Much more than an office
The &MediaGroup offices as a whole are based on a different concept of work, in which reinforcing creative processes is the priority. This is perfectly reflected in the distribution of the rooms and in the creation of common areas for leisure and socializing.
To reinforce this notion, the chromatic palette chosen is limited to play with sandy tones and the browns of the wooden elements, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that eliminates any unwanted distractions.
A sea of sensations also supported by the relaxed shapes that mold the volumes of the furniture present, among which the numerous counters created by our teams stand out.
Avoiding sharp angles and merging with the textures of the whole, these elements act as distinctive elements that establish a division of interconnected spaces while demonstrating the functional design that reigns at &MediaGroup.
In the same way, they are the best example of the wide versatility of our collection of furniture pieces, capable of flowing and integrating into a wide variety of projects in areas such as hospitality, retail or offices.
