Inspired by Wabi Sabi, the piece is connected to the company’s aesthetics and has been designed and manufactured by A Vida’s teams
The teams of A Vida, the industrial division of A Group, have just carried out a spectacular simultaneous installation in six of the most important Massimo Dutti flagships worldwide. The flagship stores of the Inditex group company in Shanghai, Dubai, Paris, London, Madrid and A Coruña have recently seen their aesthetics transformed by a majestic piece designed, manufactured and installed by the professionals of A Vida.
The piece is a sort of imposing contemporary triumphal arch. A gateway to a fashion proposal as genuine as it is attractive. A Wabi Sabi inspired element, very connected to Massimo Dutti‘s image.
Wabi Sabi is much more than an architectural trend. It is a philosophy of life that materializes in the universe of decoration in opposition to absolute symmetry and the aspiration for perfection.
Like the piece designed by our teams for Massimo Dutti, Wabi Sabi is an allegory of imperfection. A call to the purity of materials and shapes, to minimalism and the balance hidden in nature and the world around us.
Based on these principles, A Vida’s creatives gave shape to a piece that is as striking for its measurements as for the materials used or its heterodox forms. For its celebration of imperfection and the magnetism of the essential. For its neutral colors and powerful presence.
Adapting the piece to each establishment
The installation of the pieces in the five stores materialized on the same night, so it was necessary to move A Vida teams to each city. The work in each location had its particularities, given that the dimensions of each piece vary according to the distribution of the spaces in each establishment.
In Serrano (Madrid), for example, it’s the tallest, more than 4.5 meters by 3 meters long, while in Dubai, the length of the piece soared above five meters.
In short, a fascinating project that connects with what we are and what we want to be. To create and to manufacture. Imagining and making reality. That is the true essence of A Vida…
