A Vida Group participates in the decoration of Light & Studio’s showroom in A Coruña, a dazzling multidisciplinary space where light is the protagonist

Located halfway between Plaza de María Pita and Avenida de la Marina in A Coruña, its privileged location makes this showroom and workspace an ideal place to approach anytime and look through the peephole. But also, to imagine and visualize the future of upcoming projects in which light embodies the role it plays best.

Imperfection is synonymous with authenticity—of nature, of reality. It conveys confidence in what is presented in the story you want to tell. That is why, a few years ago, the great Leonard Cohen twinned it with light and its ability to show the world its intrinsic beauty through self-acceptance.
As could not be otherwise, to create this space in which light makes its appearance through cracks measured to the millimetre and in many other ways, our teams have followed in the footsteps of the acclaimed poet and musician, reflecting our expertise in the field of showrooms by exploring the shapes, colours and textures that the most authentic imperfection can provide.
Distributed at two different heights and with two different orientations, the creative space proposed by Light & Studio is configured as a playground for exploring the infinite possibilities of light.
Something that combines perfectly with the look projected by our exclusive pieces distributed throughout the premises. Most of these pieces carry the light that makes this temple of creation so unique.
Respecting the past lived by the original stones of the establishment in conjunction with our exclusive finishes of imperfect artistry eroded by the passage of time, these two large rooms make your space a place where each element is located where it is for a particular reason. Nothing is left to chance in Light & Studio.
The first, whose facade overlooks the iconic Plaza de María Pita, is a multipurpose space for various activities. Its design is diaphanous to enable diversity in meetings and gives prominence to the exclusive elements that populate Light & Studio. Our tuning fork-shaped lamps, the majestic chains that link ceiling and floor, and the exceptional murals displayed on the surrounding walls stand out.
For its part, the second room is articulated as a corner where intimacy witnesses the arrival of the warm light that bathes the Avenida de la Marina. Here, when the sun goes down, a play of light and shadows takes place, highlighting the most suggestive qualities of the vertical walls created by our teams. Marks and pores come to life and tell their own story—pure A Vida.
The original toilet of the Light & Studio showroom is located halfway between the two levels as a centrepiece. On one of its edges grows and lives a jungle hanging garden that covers the vertical dimension of the space. Facing it, a very particular piece stands out: a geometric and massive tile-coloured washbasin made by our teams that is configured as the centre of gravity of the room.
Suspended in the air at half height and anchored to one of the walls, it is crowned with a cylindrical luminaire of classic style. It hangs from the high ceiling and is topped with a huge mirror that expands the feeling of spaciousness of the place.
In short, Light & Studio is a true temple of design. It is a meeting point for lovers of the most exquisite aesthetics, a place that does not renounce being true to itself, letting its light dazzle naturally.
